WordPress integration — official plugin for the Oneop chat widget

WordPress is where a large share of small-business websites live, so it gets Oneop’s most packaged install path: an official plugin rather than a code snippet.

What it does

The plugin embeds the Oneop chat widget on your WordPress site. Visitors get your published chatbot flow — answers grounded in your knowledge base, order lookups if WooCommerce is connected, lead capture into the CRM — and a handoff path to a human agent working the Unified Inbox. Web-to-lead forms embed on WordPress pages too, delivering scored, routed leads into the CRM within seconds of submission.

What flows, in which direction

• Outbound to your site: the widget loader and your published bot flow. The live widget always serves the published snapshot — never a draft.
• Inbound to Oneop: every chat turn, persisted on both sides so transcripts are complete; form submissions landing as CRM leads tagged web_form.
• The plugin stores its settings in standard WordPress options; the connection to your workspace is a widget key.

Setup

Install the plugin, paste your workspace’s widget key, save. The widget is a floating launcher injected into the page — not an iframe — and each conversation turn posts to a rate-limited public endpoint that resolves your workspace from the key.

What it does not do

• The widget is deliberately minimal: text bubbles only. No file upload, no rich cards in the widget, no proactive triggered messages, no visitor authentication.
• The widget’s color and position are currently fixed (near-black, bottom-right) — there is no theming or white-labeling.
• The plugin does not sync WordPress content, users or comments into Oneop.
